 You can tell a lot about someone from the
entertainment they like. I don't have cable, and I think most movies are crap.
But I do appreciate a precious few sources of pop entertainment. You'll find a
partial list below.

convention)
- When It All Goes South — Alabama (this
one mentions my little home town)
- What I Really Meant to Say — Cyndi Thompson
- Moonlight Sonata — Beethoven
- Life's a Dance — John Michael Montgomery (ever feel like life's a dance, and you got two left
feet?)
- You're Gone — Diamond Rio
- Family Portrait — Pink
- The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia — Reba McEntire
- Patches — George Jones and B.B. King (I approximate both voices when singing along in the
car)
- I Only have Eyes for You — The Flamingos (sip red wine while listening to this one)
- I Can't Help Falling in Love with You — Elvis Presley
- Music of the Azeri National Anthem — Uzeyir Hajibeyov
- Fag Song — Charlie Daniels Band (if you haven't heard this one, listen.... it's one
of the few times you'll hear a country song about gays)
- Ojos Asi — Shakira
- Canon — Pachelbel (for an
interesting minimalist rendition, try checking out the version played
exclusively on a Korean Gayakum)
- Last Stand in Open Country — Willie Nelson and Kid Rock (interesting combo for a duet, wouldn't you
say?)
- Now I'm a Woman — Nancy Wilson
- Life's a Dream — The Astral Symphony
- I'm Dreamin' of a Black Kwanzaa — Shirley Q. Liquor (for all your political correctness needs)
- Amazing Grace in Bagpipe (I want
this one at my funeral)
- Midnight Train to Georgia — Gladys Knight & The Pips
(make a toot-toot motion with your arm
every time The Pips go, "Hoo Hoo!")
- Third Brandenburg — Bach (captain Picard also liked this one)
